Our Director David's Message...
A FEW SUMMER THOUGHTS
As we move into our Summer programs Judy our newly selected director has come up with a wonderful selection of themes so that we can have some fun topics before our support groups take place. These are listed below as we encourage you to participate in the Thursday evenings with Judy and friends. Judy is on the same page with many in our group who agree that now we need to grow our group from the inside(INREACH) before we can truly have outreach . She is looking for individuals to step up to the plate as she develops a strong council/team this summer. Also, Pat Fessler co-ordinates(DIDN’T SHE DO A GREAT JOB COORDINATING OUR 20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION PARTY?) our fall “Growing Though It series.” Please help by passing our brochures along to friends, individuals going through a recent loss, clinics, hospitals, religious and community gatherings, libraries etc. These brochures will be available soon and I thank you in advance for your support. Also, we need 18 facilitators for this series to co-lead in one of the 9 support groups. We will have a brief training session from 1-4 pm on Sat. September 11.Mark your calendar as we learn so much about group dynamics in this educational and practical workshop.
